This Privacy Policy describes how DriftLab ("we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use our mobile application HalfLight (ПОЛСВЕТА) (the "App"), available on both Android and iOS, a 2-player cooperative puzzle game where partners share control of a single character between light and dark. We are committed to protecting your privacy.

1. Information We Collect

Solo play works entirely on your device and sends no data anywhere. The App's Private (code-based) and Random (matchmaking) co-op modes use Firebase (a Google service) and collect:

• Anonymous account ID — created automatically on first launch via Firebase Authentication. It is a random identifier, not tied to your name, email address, or any other personal information. We never ask for those.
• Game session data — when you create or join a co-op session, gameplay data (a short session code, player positions, dug-out terrain, and level progress) is synced between the two players' devices via the Firebase Realtime Database. This describes the state of the game, not the players.

Your level-completion progress is also stored locally on your own device (not sent to us) so the App can remember which levels you've unlocked.

2. How We Use Your Information

Game session data is used solely to synchronize a co-op match between two players in real time. It is not used for advertising, profiling, or analytics.

3. Data Storage

Co-op session data is stored in the Firebase Realtime Database, a Google Cloud service. We do not maintain any other servers or databases. Stale or abandoned sessions may be periodically removed.

4. Third-Party Services

The App uses Firebase (Google) for anonymous authentication and co-op sync. It does not integrate any advertising SDKs, and Firebase Analytics is disabled.

5. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
